Chris creates landscape proposals, planting plans, site plan renderings, construction details and environmental solutions tailored for each individual client's need. Since 2005, Chris has been a landscape design professional, helping clients around the world develop plans and drawings to progress their landscape visions towards construction.
Helping clients illustrate their landscape requests starts with Chris understanding the specific needs and goals of each client. Using his research, Chris then continues through the design process utilizing his design and illustration skills to draft accurate plans and visuals that can be delivered to a contractor, committee or organization.
Chris graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Landscape Architecture. Before completing the 5-year ASLA accredited program at Purdue, he studied landscape and horticulture at a vocational school in Valparaiso, Indiana. During and after his studies, Chris worked with greenhouses, design-build firms, and landscape architecture studios in Indiana, Colorado, New York and Florida.
Chris is a long-time advocate for animal welfare and plant based living. He invests his time cooking vegan meals, gardening and volunteering on Saturday mornings at the Leilani Farm Sanctuary for rescued and abandoned animals. Chris is also an avid reader - studying art and natural design to incorporate into his work.
Chris is efficient in delivering design presentations, drafting production and working in graphic software. Currently he manages all landscape design projects in Adobe Creative Suite and Autodesk programs.
Presently, Chris is studying for the LARE, the certification exam to become a registered landscape architect in the state of Hawaii.
